Rare Art Déco Modernist Hanau Sollux Therapy Lamp

This is a stunning and ultra rare ca.1920-1930 antique German Quartzlampen G.m.b.H.Hanau medical therapy chromed Sollux Lamp.
The lamp is fully nickle-plated. Switch and plug are bakelite.
It has two bronze plaques by the manufatorer.
It comes with it's original bulb, but without the red filter.
The condition is excellent. The metal parts have naturally a patina by the age, but no towelled parts. The nickel plating is very well conserved. The base has a few traces of use.
The bulb is intact, lamp is working.

The Sollux lamps are used in physical therapy, rehabilitation and sanatorium treatment.

dan is het erg goed gedaan.
Heeft ook vrijwel geen beschadigingen.

We have never seen a lamp like this lacquered in this glossy white.
Former owner of the lamp told us it is original,
But we are not sure.
Maybe somebody painted over the lamp.
When so it is done extremely well.
And the lamp really is a beauty with almost
no traces of use.
